How long is hospital stay?

How long do you typically stay in the hospital after birth if all goes well? I was thinking one night but my coworkers said probably more like two or three??

Normal vaginal delivery 2 days. C-section 3 days.

With my son I went in at 7:30 on the 23rd and got released the morning of the 26th. And I gave birth the morning of the 24th.

With my son I went in around 6pm Tuesday night in labor, didn't deliver until Wednesday evening, and went home on Friday evening.

I stayed two nights with my first two. It was especially helpful with breastfeedig the first baby. Breastfeedig is not very intuitive, so lactation nurses were super helpful.

About 2 days but if everything is fine, your doc and your baby doc has to come by and then you can ask to leave. My shortest labor was 3 hours and I was home in less than 24 hours.

Depends on the hospital and your insurance. My first delivery was an uneventful vaginal delivery with Anthem insurance, spent two nights in the hospital. Currently 36 weeks with baby #2 and Kaiser insurance....Kaiser has said if my delivery is uneventful I'll be out the door in 24 hours. I'll ve delivering at the same hospital as last time.

My first I had high blood pressure had to be induced we stayed 3 days second baby he was in the nicu an my stay was 2 days bc of high blood pressure if everything goes as planned I’m hoping no longer then 24 hours I will be asking bc I have two baby’s at home an def not feeling comfortable with all these sicknesses going around I wanna be in an out if it was for my history of hemorrhaging at birth I would def be leaning for a home birth

With your first they typically say 2-3 so that you get familiar and comfortable with baby.  This is my 4th so I’m staying 24 hours and I’m out of all goes well.
