How bad are hip/pelvis breaks in elderly people? Chances of healing? .. google is scaring me.

My grandma got dizzy due to her cancer/pain meds today and fell and broke her hip and pelvis.. I’m so worried😭 I have heard it’s not usually good but maybe someone can help give me some hope or just even some insight. Possibly share their own experiences.

She has been suffering with arthritis forever and a couple months before Christmas her pain was so bad she had to go to the hospital, and found she had cancer.. in her hip😔… so I’m scared that will make the chances of it healing unlikely.. 😔💔🤞
