Do you suffer from insomnia...

I suffer from insomnia a couple of days before my cycle comes on,and it's the most frustrating thing ever.All I want to do is sleep!!!Im up all night watching Netflix,I have to force myself to so sleep for work in the afternoon. And the next day I sleep all day depending if I'm off.Im I the only one suffer from insomnia???And what should I do? Thank you Ladies?

I do and have just for the past couple of months. My bf has had problems with sleep as long as I've known him from his ptsd and I never had the problem until I had an ectopic pregnancy in July. I think it was worry and stress and hormone levels changing. I always wake up anywhere from 3 to 4 am no matter how late I've gone to bed (usually 1am to 2am) and I'm up until at least 530 or 6am. I'm up for the day everyday by at least 830am the latest. I try to take a hot shower right before bed and drink some hot tea. I turn off the bedside lamp and put my phone away. Sometimes it doesn't help and I get restless and pick my phone back up. I read that people who mess with their phone or watch TV have a harder time going to bed and getting good rest and it makes sense so I would suggest leaving the phone down no matter what and see if it helps. I've also heard that people who are smarter have a harder time sleeping because their brains are still awake and working hard? I will just say that's why I have trouble lol ;) good luck because these sleeping patterns take a toll on your body!!!
