I go back to work in three weeks and my baby will not take more than an ounce from the bottle at this point. We introduced the bottle early on. And would try to feed him at least a few times a week but it never seemed to get better. I have tried dr browns, comotomo, and lansinoh bottles. And nipples ranging from preemie to size 2. Dad will try to feed him when I am gone or out of the room with our older son.

When he latches to the bottle he has a good latch and can take several sucks. It really seems like a preference for breast more than anything. I should also mention I use a nipple shield so I would have thought the transition would be easier.

I’m nervous about daycare. I’m sure the providers have experienced this before but I am stressing. Anyone have any success stories?
