(28 weeks pregnant) Yesterday I developed unbearable side pain. It’s just been really awful. I’ve had UTIs before and this doesn’t even compare. Severe pain. They finally sent me home with an antibiotic prescription and pain meds. I just feel really guilty taking the pain medicine but at the same time I can’t take the pain! I’m too weak. I feel like a horrible person bc i must’ve caused the kidney infection by not drinking enough water or just not peeing as much as i need to. Now i’m taking pain medication that an OB did prescribe but we all know that no pain meds is better for the baby. It should be getting better soon and I can get off them but i just feel wrong for even taking them.
