What's your pads of choice for postpartum?

I'm thinking more for after the heavier bleeding subsides. I'm gonna get the Always size 5 overnights to use for the first 3 days tops. And then I'm thinking if the Always flexfoam in size 5 will be good to use? Flexfoam is what I use during my regular periods. I don't want to feel like I'm in a diaper the entire time. Anyone have experience with using thinner pads for postpartum bleeding?

Depends disposable briefs.  I enjoy the freedom of not worrying about leaking around a pad onto furniture/in bed.🙌🏼

I actually found period underwear that I was really skeptical about before I was pregnant and had time to try before hand that work SO well. They’re beyond comfortable and don’t feel too bulky

I say go as thin and long as possible. Anything with cushion like overnights, I found to be too thick and hurt my stitches.

I used regular maxipads for the first few days with my first and then just a pantyliner for like a week until I stopped bleeding for good.

Honestly I know they feel like diapers but for the first week or so after I love wearing the mesh undies and the giant pads from the hospital 😂 they feel more comfortable than anything else lol. Once I run out of those I will probably go to overnight pads since they have more absorbency and then probably just maxi pads. With my June 2020 baby I had bought a pack of depends on a whim because that’s what several people suggested to me and I HATED them. The pack is still sitting up in my closet barely used lol
