The dreaded ‘is baby here yet’ texts have started coming through. I’m not due till Thursday. Is it rude for me to ignore these texts? It causes me to feel really annoyed and stressed. Baby will be here when baby is here, and people will know then! Do they think I’m keeping some sort of secret?!! Urgh! I’ve switched notifications off messenger and WhatsApp to protect my mental health with this. Is it rude of me though??!

Also with my first baby I was bombarded with texts after I announced her birth. Asking me how labour was etc it was so annoying when I just wanted to focus on my newborn. How do I deal with this too?!!!
