I recently was diagnosed with mild pcos, my obgyn prescribed me metformin (500mg each) and letrozole (2.5mg each). He told me by cycle 1-5 we should be able to conceive. My instructions are:

First week take metformin only 1 tablet.

Second week take metformin twice a day.

Third week take three metformin tablets a day.

Once my period starts I'm to call them to set up an ultrasound and by day 3 of my period to start taking letrozol for 4 days.

Has anyone had any luck with doing this or have any advice or stories?

Back in January of last year we had our first miscarriage we were about 1 to 2 weeks pregnant. He said my husband is perfectly fine all his tests came back great. Mine however said mild pcos.
