I have herpes simplex 1 on my vaginal area. I itch terribly and hurts to have Sex like my fiancé can't even get in (tmi) cause it hurts so bad!  Does anyone have this problem? 
I have some kind of prescribed cream and some antibiotics. But I don't see any relief..

I have type 2 and antibiotic its what help me finishing the whole thing and staying away from sex ! Keep the area dry and wash with baby soap my first out.break was the worse but now i havent gotten it for one year good luck talk to your doc

The first outbreak is the absolute worst. Do stay away from sex while u have a flare up. Coating the affected area with Vaseline throughout the days helps.

Stay on the antibiotics and ask your doctor about suppression medication to help keep outbreaks away.  Is this your first outbreak? It's usually the worst one. You should not have sex with your partner until it clears up not only because it passes it to him but you'll pass the virus back and forth which will never get you relief. I have it so trust me I get it and now that I'm TTC it makes the situation that much more frustrating. Other tips I've discovered. Keep it clean down there and eat healthier it helps keep out breaks to a minimum. Stress tends to hit it off so try to keep it to a minimum but that's something that's not as controllable. Good luck

I know someone who got the shingles vaccination and hasn't had a herpes outbreak since. They say it can supress them. Also look into ozonated olive oil. It will make sores go away really fast. It has to be kept refridgerated because the ozone gas in the oil is kept stable this way. You can get really good stuff from pur03.com. thats where I buy mine. It can be used on all kinds of things. I use it for pimples to disinfect wounds and speed healing.
