Is this normal?

I was told that after sex, you're supposed to pee to flush out bacteria and all that good stuff. Well I noticed that right after when I am peeing, it burns/tingles just a little. And it's only right after sex. Is this normal?

Just always make sure you pee!!! Gosh I can't stress it enough, I've had so many UTI's from sex. Not fun.

Definitely pee, even if it's uncomfortable, a UTI is WAY worse!

It burns cause that skin has been rubbed raw, so yes it is normal for that burning sensation.

I agree I think it's totally normal I have the same thing. Especially if it's been more than a week. Sometimes I think I may tare a little too because my husband is not a small man. That could be a reason too.

For me, it depends on how rough the sex is, how long it lasts, and how often we have been having sex, whether it hurts or not... But yes, it is very normal... As uncomfortable as it may be, peeing is important!?

Well, with my ex I had same sympthoms like you. But now with my love I do not have burns when I pee. It might be physiological or your and your partner's chemistry don't work together, I think. Now I have a partner with whom everything is ok. I am tested and well :)

Same happens to me. I figure it's just a little raw from friction. Nothing major.
