Hello. I am curious if anyone has experienced or is experiencing what I am after coming off of birth control. I’m currently TTC and since coming off of nexplanon after five years of being on it I am having issues. I came off of nexplanon in June of 2021 and did not have a period for 3 months. When I came off of BC the doctor told me that since I had had normal 28 day cycles before BC and that I had a period while on BC that is should come back after 4 to 8 weeks. I went three months without a period and so I went back to the doctor. They ran some testing and my FSH levels were high and my estrogen was low. I was also prescribed medroxyprogesterone to induce a period. It has now been 6 months since I started taking the medroxyprogesterone and I still can’t have a period without the meds. I’m curious if anyone has had this same experience and how long it took for your periods to get back to normal if they ever did and how long it took to conceive.
