2 embryos or 1? What to do!?

Question

What are the pros and cons to transferring a normal embryo and an inconclusive embryo at the same time (two babies at once)? 
What did you decide and why?

I’d be asking the question whether the inconclusive one could have any negative effect on the normal one implanting, as you wouldn’t want to jeopardise that.
And obviously you need to be prepared for the risk of twins (or more!!) too. Age and number of previous failed transfers are factors too, as well as quality of embryos. 
Ours weren’t genetically tested, so slightly different but we also struggled with what to do. First transfer was a single (failed), then we did 2 double transfers and another single (all failed), and our final double transfer worked and both embryos stuck, currently 23 weeks with twins. (These were from 4 different egg retrievals). We weren’t necessarily expecting both to stick given we’d already had two failed double transfers, but were more than aware it was a possibility (and over the moon!) I also know a couple of people on here recently transferred two and ended up with triplets as 1 split, so a definite risk you need to be prepared for! Good luck!

Going through the same here I’m actually starting my birth control tomorrow to prep for my transfer… I miscarried last month and the option is out there to transfer two especially since my first transfer didn’t stick and the second one resulted in my miscarriage… I have 7 embabies on ice and I think I’m up for transferring the two 🤞🏼 hoping I make it full term. Fortunately I don’t work so I know there’s risks but I’d have so much time to focus on lowering risks by dieting , bed rest and whatever the doctor orders. I’m also aware a miscarriage is inevitable just how it happened already but we’ll see once the transfer comes. ☺️ baby dust to you ✨

I transferred one and ended up with twins (who were both stillbirths at 24 weeks…) so you never know what’s actually going to happen.

The only thing I can think of , is if both stick and the one has issues and miscarries. Are you prepared for two at the same time? I thought about transferring two … oh my, now with my 3 week old. Sooo glad I did one lol but it was also my third transfer. You just never know.
