So in my house today we had a debate regarding world hunger. I believe it’s doable and that we can start by asking corporations to give food that would otherwise be thrown out to those in need. Obviously I haven’t spent time figuring out the logistics of how we would make it work but overall I believe we can figure it out.

One person here thinks there could be negative side effects that wouldn’t make it worth it.

I was just curious to see what other people’s views on this are.

I understand it would be a complicated task and would run into problems along the way. I’ve also worked at restaurants and stores where an unbelievable amount of good food was thrown out every day.

In our discussion we were talking as if the logistics and money/ resources wasn’t a problem. He still said there could be a issues because “what happens when people expect food”

He believes there could be social ramifications if people that needed it got free food. Ex more laziness.
