Any advice?

So my due date is 2/14, but due to high blood pressure we have discussed (for weeks) inducing me on 2/1. I went yesterday for one of my weekly appointments to check my blood pressure again, and it was high enough to send me to L&D to be monitored. My fiancé and I were there from 11-3:30. Now, they want to induce me on 1/25 (37W1D). Now this worries me because it’s our first, and I thought I had more time to mentally prepare! Anyone have similar stories??

Induction went really well for me. I don't want to alarm you, but I know some people that wished they would have just induced because high BP caused some catastrophic events (ultimately the baby was born still). If the medical professionals are concerned enough about the health of the baby, and can give a valid reason (i.e. high blood pressure), then I would go with their medical advice.

I’m currently in hospital after being readmitted for induction tomorrow morning at 37 weeks.I have been in & out of hospital due to preeclampsia & BP.It is definitely safest option in the circumstances.I unfortunately have just been informed that baby is back to back which is going to make natural labour quite difficult but I’m hoping for the best🤞

Just had my baby at 37 weeks on Jan. 12 and she’s is perfect. I  was called that day and told to head to the hospital for a C-section in 6 hrs.  Two weeks away from my already scheduled C-section, the reasons eclampsia with first pregnancy and baby being to big. Everything will be ok.

I’d say just pray and take it all in, you’re 37 weeks so at that point the baby’s lungs are developed so don’t worry. Wishing u a safe delivery.✨✨

Yes, being induced on the 25th as well with our second. Even if it’s not our first I am so not ready and mentally prepared. I thought I had about a month to go still 😳 and due to growth restriction my dr wants to induce me early. Best of luck to you.. I am sure everything will be fine and at the end of the day all your baby really needs it’s you and lots of milk 😀

I have the same situation being induced Friday I’ll be 37weeks. This is my second was induced with my first but that was being I was over due. Try not to stress x
