Which underwear is best to wear with pads?

Question

So I mostly have cotton underwear, but when I use my pads, they tend to rip my underwear.  There are actual holes from me changing out my pads while on my period.  Pieces of the fabric stick to the pad and get torn off when I change pads.
Is there a certain material of underwear that works better with pads, that won't get all ripped up?
**I am not asking about period underwear, so please do not recommend that. (Thinx, knix, etc.)**

I use The Honey pot brand pads and Victoria Secret panties. Never had any issue.

Maybe you need to try using a different brand of pads that aren’t so damn sticky. I think always brand are too sticky and sometimes the wings of the pad rips while I’m trying to take it off. So I usually like store brand but maybe you should try a different brand and see if that works.

Never in all my years have I ripped cotton underwear with pads. Cotton under wear is the best in general because of the breathability. Maybe look for a better brand ?

Ive never had that happen before. I use hanes briefs and they have always worked for me
