I’m starting to wean my 18 month old off the boob but he’s a comfort nurser and it’s not going good at all. He tries to lift up my shirt and I tell him no he throws a tantrum. It’s bad in the morning because he wants to nurse and since he’s still half asleep he will throw a huge fit and start kicking me like crazy and screaming so I give in because I want to go back to bed. I still want to nurse before bed until he’s two but now I’m terrified he won’t go to sleep at all once we wean and how I’m gonna get him to fall asleep because he literally won’t sleep without it. Had anyone else went through this when weaning? And how did you handle it? And how’s it going now that you’ve weaned completely?
