Baby starting solids!

Question

What were must haves when your baby started solids? My LO turns 6 months next month and I need to know your guys must haves for starting solids! I have a high chair, baby bullet and baby steamer. But I need to know what you could and couldn't live without when it comes to utensils, bowls, plates, bibs etc.

I really liked a spoon and fork set similar to this. It’s much easier for baby to feed themself.

You don't need much. Not even utensils or high chair. You can allow them to play and explore food with their hands.

We love the Bibado. It makes cleanup much easier. We did BLW from the beginning so we skipped purées and she self feeds, and it is MESSY! We put a splat mat under the high chair for the same reason.
We really like the Gootensils spoons, Munchkin straw cup, and EZPZ mini cup.
