35w 3d could this be labour?

Hi,
Last night I have experienced some light period pain and went to sleep, today I had 2 episodes of diarhhea and have the same period pain with sharp stabbing like pain below my belly button from time to time. Could this be a sign that labour is near? I am a FTM and I have no idea how it’s supposed to feel. Thanks! ♥️

I had pain like that and I had prodromal labor which is false labor that started around 33 weeks and my daughter wasn't born until 42 weeks😬. Real labor pain is excruciating for me at least and doesn't stop. But if you are concerned then get it checked out, better safe than sorry.

I never had painful contractions throughout my whole labor. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I did have a bowel clear out 2 days before my water broke. I also felt “off” that day. In hindsight I should’ve called my doctor when I was feeling off. I had very mild contractions for 2 days but they always went away pretty quickly. I assumed it was prodomal labor. But then my water broke and my girl was born 12 hours later. I was 35+4. One week in the nicu.
I’d go get checked to be safe. Try and keep that babe in as long as possible.

But you can always go to the doctor or hospital to make sure it’s not actual labour.
