Anyone else?

Was rocking my toddler to sleep today and just started crying at how big he is and how much I love him 🥺 he’s gonna be such a great big brother and I guess it’s just hitting me that probably within the next week or two him and I aren’t going to have much of our special alone time anymore, and it just made me so emotional.
Anyone else starting to have it hit them too??

Yes. I keep holding her all the time. Lately I Havnt been able to spend as much time with her  as I would like. She keeps calling me for doing things with her and I am always tired. I feel so bad. She is just two. And all my firsts came with her. Even reading and writing this post is so painful. 🥺

Yes!! I was crying about it today and while reading this. My two year old is my best friend right now and I'm happy to give him a brother but I'm going to miss all the alone time with him. He's growing so fast and I feel so excited for the new baby but so guilty and sad at the same time.

Yes, my son is 3 and so attached to me. He is looking forward to being a big brother, and i feel i have done the best I can to talk to him and prepare him for the changes that are coming, but it's so bittersweet. What made me cry this past week is that he suddenly had a growth spurt, and while I'm trying to get everything set up for his baby sister, i had to go into storage and dig out his tote of bigger sizes clothes and transfer his entire wardrobe and buy him new shoes! He is growing so fast, communicating so well, and getting so independent, and while I am so proud of him, it is also really sad to see his babyhood and those special years we have had just the two of us coming to an end.

Yes! Our son is only a little over a year old and I’ve been trying to soak in all the cuddles recently. I’ve been emotional af today, not really about this, but life in general right now. He’s already getting so big and he will look even bigger next to his little sister. As of Monday, I’ll have 2 weeks left before our scheduled C-section (unless my doctor says otherwise at my upcoming appointments) and I’m not ready for it. He’s literally the happiest boy and I hope it doesn’t change when we bring his sister home 🥺 don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait to not be pregnant anymore but each day/week goes by and I just keep saying I’m not ready for her to be here yet 😅

Same.. my son is 6 1/2 & the only child. I’m so heart broken that out won’t be just us any more but at the same time so happy. I just feel like I’m taking myself away or something and I feel guilty:

Right there with you! My daughter is such a sweetie and she’s gonna be such a great sister but yea I keep thinking how she won’t have as much time with me alone anymore. It definitely hits me in waves. But I’m an only child and I wish I had a sibling so I know it will all be ok

Yes. My son is my world and it’s so bitter sweet. I’m excited to not be pregnant anymore so I can start feeling like my normal self again- but also, these are the last few weeks with just our son. 🥺 ugh it’s overwhelming

Yes 😥 I had a moment cuddling my daughter in her chair tonight where I felt myself getting emotional. 
I just looked down and her and I feel like I blinked and she’s gone from my tiny little baby into my sassy little 2 year old. Had a few little memory flash backs of sitting in our rocking chair breastfeeding and just looking at her in the middle of the night soaking up the newborn cuddles and how quickly those days are gone 😥 xx
