I was taking birth control for about 3 months and quit for a month because of a high d dimer on a blood test. I got my period a few days earlier than my app said but it was a lot lighter than usual but was extremely painful on the first day. I had all my usual symptoms just very intense and with light bleeding. Is this normal after you quit taking birth control? I started taking birth control again on the first day of my period. I also got off my period a couple days ago but had a little bit of brown discharge after sex tonight.
