Jaundice baby- coukd it come back after being treated?

My baby was born 37 weeks and tested positive for jaundice the day he was born. He did light therapy for about two days none stop and then they tested him and saw his numbers went down. We waited another 15 hours without light therapy and his numbers stayed below the jaundice level and we got to go home. 
It’s been about 5 days after we returned home (baby 9 days old) and I can’t help but notice how much he still sleeps. It seems about twice a day we get some open eye action and he looks at his books and sing songs etc but then back to him going to sleep
After he eats. 
He’s been eating less but more frequently as well. 
Can he have jaundice again after seeing and being treated a few days ago

Both of my kids had jaundice,and yes it can go up and down. I don’t know where do you live but   what we did was take him out on the sun,just make sure to cover his eyes. 5-10 minutes every day,and it went away fully after 1-2 weeks.Good luck 🍀

My son was also born at 37 weeks it took about three weeks to fully kick the jaundice after we were released home. He went under lights at the hospital for 18 hours twice. We had to keep taking him back to the pediatrician to get it rechecked. the pediatrician told us to set his bassinet by the window and put him just in his diaper. Supposedly the sun light helps break down the bilirubin.

My sons jaundice rebounded every time we went out of the lights longer than the 30 minutes. So yes, it is possible. However, babies are super sleepy at this age! How much is baby eating (or how long at a time if you’re breastfeeding)? At least 8+ wet diapers and 1+ dirty diaper? 
If you’re worried, it wouldn’t hurt to call baby’s pediatrician and request another test for the jaundice!

Unlikely but possible. If hes still got off color I would say get his pediatrician to test his levels again

Yes that’s possible but newborns sleep a lot.
Like 18-20 hours a day is normal. Expect 30min-1hr wake windows and that includes feeding time. 
Eating less but more frequently if breastfeeding is clusterfeeding and completely normal. 
Bring up your concerns at babes 2 week appointment. Have babe lay in a well lit window to get some sunlight while in just a diaper. If it is jaundice, that will help breakdown the the bilirubin for babe to poop out.
