When we talk about social issues in the world, a large consensus is that a lot of problems stem from global White Supremacy. There is a rhetoric that white people hold the most wealth and say over political issues that effect the entire world.

However, a lot of this could be perception and social influence and isn’t of actual fact, or keeping “white people” as the dominant influence is intentional to avoid a magnifying glass of the people actually in charge...

With me so far? Let’s break down some facts.

1. The largest racial population in the world is not white people, but actually Han Chinese, accounting for over 20% of the world’s population.

2. English is thought to be the dominant language of trade by most Americans and Euro-centric individuals, however the largest spoken language is Mandarin Chinese, even in business transactions.

3. China is the largest “business partner” with the rest of the world, accounting for up to 20% of all trading, a US 535 billion dollar annual endeavor.

4. The US receives up to 30% of its pharmaceuticals from China annually.

5. China is considered to be the “world’s factory”. In the average US home, up to 40% of items owned come from China. Another 10% come from various other Chinese government ruled Asian countries (China currently has rulership over 14 other nations).

6. China surpasses all other countries in terms of scientific and medical research; the US routinely and quietly purchases scientific breakthroughs from Chinese labs.

7. The Chinese government does not have the same ethic committees in regards to scientific research and therefor can legally conduct experiments that would be deemed unethical and illegal in the US and Europe.

8. Socially, China has a horrific racism problem, commonly airing local ads/commercials painting black Americans as “dirty” and “dangerous”. Outside of the large cities, it is common for restaurants and businesses to have signs up refusing black and brown skinned patrons. Black tourists are often told to stick to the large cities to avoid being targeted.

9. China holds Muslim reintroduction camps, meaning Muslim Chinese citizens are legally forced to attend “classes” to encourage them to denounce Islam and pledge allegiance to the Republic of China. Religion in general is not commonly accepted amongst China.

So there is a large oratory and commonly held belief that white people are the “dominant force” and ultimately cause of a lot of issues around the world, however, does it not sound like the people who are more quietly in charge and running things is the government of China? NOT the primarily-white US and Euro governments? Our governments definitely benefit from Chinese doings, but to me, with lots of research, think it seems more like the dominant global force is coming out of China, and a lot of the continued racist beliefs are only emphasized and encouraged. America is often thought to be the epicenter of racism, however looking at China, one can clearly see that the US is not denying black people entry to restaurants nor putting Muslim people into camps.
