Eliana Mae Fischer born 1/16/2022!

I checked into hospital for induction Friday 1/14 at 8pm. They inserted cervadil and by morning my cervix was still closed and barely 1cm. Saturday morning they inserted Cytotec, they said they would do 4 pills 1 every 4 hours but I only needed 1 pill. I progressed to 4cm by afternoon. By 7pm Saturday night started Pitocin IV and my contractions came on so fast!! By 11pm I asked for epidural because my pain level became 9/10 and contractions were about 1 min to 1.5 minutes apart. Throughout the night they flipped me every 30 minutes! From left to right and so on. 6am Sunday morning I was 9.5 cm and called my fiance and my mom to come back to hospital it was go time!! I pushed for 1.5 hours and she was born Sunday at 10:21am weighing 6lbs 14oz and 19.5 inches long (I was 40 weeks 3 days) I got a 1st degree tear on labia and a 2nd degree tear perineum so recovery has been rough but at day 7 I am feeling better and better.
