My 3year old as nits/headlice what's the best thing to use to stop her getting them ??

My daughter is 3 an half years old she gose to pre school so I've been waiting for this day 😢 I done her hair to night an yup she's got nits some was dead which I don't understand why ? An some alive ones she's had about 20/25 maybe some big some small.. I just wanted to no what you mom's do to help your kids not get them ? An what did u use to get red of them ? As this is the first time I'm having to do this..

I worked in a school and we had students get lice all the time, I always used a preventive spray in my hair to keep from getting it. It’s called Fairy Tales and you can get it on Amazon, they also have shampoo and conditioner. I would treat and get rid of the lice first with Rid or Nix, also make sure to wash all bedding it hot water and dry On high, as well as jackets, hats/gloves, clothes and anything that goes to school with her, and throw all the stuffed animals in the dryer on high to kill any that might be on there as well.

We always used medicated shampoo but tea tree oil can help too. Idk if it’s a myth but I was always told lice love clean hair. So maybe going 1-2 days not washing hair every single day would help keep them away? I heard that’s also healthy for your hair anyway

My daughter had lice a few summers ago. Mind you, we caught it early so we only found like 5-10 live bugs. I literally sat there and picked everything out of her hair nightly. Twice a week I’d super conditioner her hair in the tub and use the lice comb.

I would add tea tree oil into their shampoo when my kids were younger . I think they make some good shampoos with it in it now.

I heard coconut oil, and then using a lice comb. the coconut oil will make it easier for the lice and eggs to come out ☺️
