If the choice is between the two then the country, but being just outside a small town is nice…suburban life can be the best of both worlds.

I grew up in the country side most of my life, I spent three years in the city and my anxiety was through the roof the whole time. I'll gladly keep my 10 acres of land and never return to the city.

The only appeal of living in the country to me would be a big house on land with no close neighbors. But tbh that’s also scary asf.
Like have y’all seen Intruder??? lol them cops could not get there quick enough!!!
Also imagine craving some chocolate or something and you have to get in your car and drive out 30 min😭

I loved living in the middle of nowhere and I love living in the city, but the job prospects in either didn’t line up with my chosen industry 🤷🏼‍♀️ We now live in a massive complex in the middle of urban sprawl and it’s the worst of all worlds- traffic, hearing and smelling your neighbors, no interesting shops or restaurants, just chain after chain.
