When did you switch to regular milk?

I’m curious what you guys all did when switching to regular milk when your baby came close to a year, I unfortunately have to stop breast-feeding by 11 months because I have to go back to work.  I’d rather not switch to formula for a month, so I’m wondering if anyone has just switched to milk at 11 months ?

I've never switched my kids to regular milk until after they turned 1 year old but that's what their pediatrician suggested. One of our kids is very sensitive to cows milk so we had to switch her to goat milk. We tried many other non dairy options and goat milk was the only one she would actually drink.

I cold turkey wean at 11 months old(dr saif its fine) 
Both kids tolerated it well and are very healthy. Do what works 
Reasons? 
I was 25 weeks pregnant with #2 and I was having braxton hicks in contraction pattern. My son wouldn't take formula gagged on all of it. 
For #2 I got really sick and had to spend almost a week in the hospital and she also wouldn't take formula so dr again gave the thumbs up.
At 11 months there isn't much a difference.

We start a slow transition around 11 months.

We started the transition to almond milk first and then transitioned to whole milk. So by 13 months she was fully transitioned

We started transitioning to Ripple milk for kids at 11 months so he was fully transitioned at 12 months. We tackled bottles at the same time so baby was excited to use new cups which made it really easy!

I was told to do it at 12 months and to replace a couple of ounces of formula with whole milk and to increase it if there’s no reaction.

I tried at 12 months but my baby had terrible issues with his tummy, diaper rash and started having nightmares. Switched him to almond milk and everything has calmed.
