My son turned 2 in November. He’s been such a happy calm angel since the day I gave birth up until his 2nd birthday. Now within the last couple of days he’s been very angry, destructive, making a mess everywhere, and screaming constantly nonstop, hitting me and his dad, etc. We love him sooo much but he has become a monster and our boss and now we don’t know what to do we he acts out. His reaction is scary. You can’t move, talk, or touch him. Being around him is like walking on eggshells. My husband and I cannot have a normal conversation or else he starts screaming bloody murder. He wants constant attention and stimulation. He gets more than enough screen time I don’t want him getting used to the screen I want him to be happy outside of screen time but now the tablet or phone is what gets him to calm down. Even at night he wakes up screaming or having night terrors and they’re getting so bad. I don’t know what has happened to this kid. He doesn’t talk yet and is delayed so it’s hard to figure out what he is trying to communicate with us. There are times I want to run away for a little or take him to the ER to get evaluated because I don’t know if it’s something physical or mental. It’s so hard to tell. Does a diaper rash cause major behavior issues? This is the first diaper rash he’s had ever.
