Question

Well I've been seeing a debate on weather or not teens should be on glow. Well im 16. I know I know. What should a girl my age be doing on this. Well I use glow because I feel like older people on this can give me great advise to prevent me from having a bad future. You girls have actually helped me alot in understanding how much of a risk it is to be sexual at my age. Yes, I have had sex. But this is why im using glow you girls have reasonable and appropriate posts, things that I can relate to, look up to, avoid, and a whole lot more. I understand some teens go on this and make themselves look like ignorant fools. But please dont let a couple teenagers make the rest of us look as bad as them. Im not trying to debate /.\ I just dont wanna feel unwelcome on this. Again thanks for reading.

Responsible youth like yourself are more than welcome here! The fact that you can actually put a sentence together is refreshing. It is a great tool for young girls to use to get advice and have certain questions answered. As the great Frasier Crane always said, [We're] listening." Lol

I know exactly how you feel, being 16 myself I rarely ever post in the groups for fear of someone looking at my age and screaming "get off glow". Thanks for voicing the thoughts of lots of my teenage friends on here :) ?

You most certainly will not be judged over this post. You definitely showed me anyways that not all teenagers using Glow are here to start fights and post absurd topics. You should feel very proud of yourself, it takes courage to try an explain yourself at only 16, to women who are married, have kids, and/or TTC. Please don't be afraid to reveal yourself and God bless your maturity at 16 xo!

I feel the same way...I'm a lilttle older but I still understand where your coming from. Honestly I just wanted something to track my cycle but when I realized glow was that and a bit more thought it was a wonderful places to express myself and learn a few things and stay away from some as well. And yes some things on here have me in stock about the teens my age, but thanks to the adults who have helped me and my peers and thanks to the teens who know how to use glow properly.

I was 16 once... I'm not judging... I think many people forget that they too were once 16. Life is difficult for teens, lots of stresses on them at that age/time. It is refreshing to hear you're here to prevent pregnancy and learn more about yourself. I think you'll be alright! ?

Well put :) As an "older teen" (I'm 19), I have to say, I think the majority of the 21+ crowd is in agreement that our age isn't the problem, it's our maturity. If we are on Glow to track our period, and ask sincere questions without being rude/dramatic/immature/silly, then there is no problem, and, in my experience, there is a lot of ladies of all ages willing to kindly help and support. 
But when young girls are posting dumb things, causing drama, being rude, etc., then their maturity becomes a problem, and that is why there has been such a stir about removing the teens. Because our generations as a whole are highly immature. There's only a few of us that can conduct ourselves as mature humans.

I think it's great to get as much information as you can about your body! I love the science part of glow/nurture and I have learned so much already. I think this is a great resource for women of all ages!
