3year old with COVID
My little girl's class was sent home last week because their teacher had COVID. And sure enough, my girl developed symptoms last Friday. She had fever for two days and now she appears better. Just a little pale, not lots of appetite, but her energy is back and she has no fever.
Are we out of the woods? Anyone whose little child had a similar experience?
The doctor said we are probably expecting her to only get better now and if she has fever to give her only paracetamol and not ibuprofen. I forgot to ask her though, why not ibuprofen. I did give her once ibuprofen as soon as I had seen her temperature on Friday.
I also worry because my mother is telling me to be careful not to develop long-term complications in other organs. Is this possible?
