I don’t know what group this would fall under but I want other people opinions.

So my friend/ cousin has been with this guy for on and off 5-6 years when I’m around he acts like the coolest guy doesn’t do half of the things I know he does . But then maybe once a month I get a call from her saying he put his hands on her AGAIN. When she left him “for good” things were getting better she was more happier and around more.

But my friend begs for this man to come back why I don’t know she doesn’t need him and has no ties to this man and it makes me look at her differently cause why should I help you and be there for you just to go back . I’ve dealt with a similar situation with a friend last year and she choose the guy over our friendship so I’m kinda tired of being in this situation. Am I a bad friend for distancing myself from her as long as she deals with him?
