Baby kicks in one spot?

Is it normal for the baby to kick in one spot only? I’m 18 weeks and for the last week I’ve noticed he keeps kicking me in the same spot?

Answer

Yes. It could also be that you only feel the baby kick in that one spot. At 18 weeks they still have a lot of room to move freely so you just might not feel it at other times. In the beginning of this pregnancy for me I only felt movement on my right side, in one exact spot. Once I hit like 25 weeks this changed. Also could have to do with where your placenta is located. But I don’t think it is abnormal.
