Has anyone on here dating or married a person that had children with a bitter ex? Like always being nasty towards you for no reason and the children as pawns.

If yes how did it all work out for you or what was your experience?

I had been married to someone with a very psychotic ex that shared 2 children with him. The ex would purposefully expose her own children to others that were sick so they'd get sick and in turn, get me sick because I have a compromised immune system. She'd throw their things at me during exchanges, call me all sorts of names, teach the kids that they shouldn't listen to me, etc. Her kids loved me and respected me as much as kids in their situations could. Their daughter even called me mom which was a total shit storm but didn't take away from the awesomeness for me. I loved those kids like my own and treated them as such. Unfortunately, their father was also a psychotic ass and so was his whole family. Like, almost cult like and very terrifying. I was fortunate to escape with my life and I'm not exaggerating when I say that, they tried to cause my death in many ways and my Dr was starting a case with APS when they finally had used me as much as they wanted and dropped me at my parents home a few towns over, literally with just a suitcase and a few things. I was officially divorced half a year later and although he'll harass me online and through emails, I haven't had to directly deal with him or his family since, thank goodness

Yes. It never ended. He passed away three years into our marriage. I still have a relationship with the girls and my relationship with his ex is no longer hostile but she was awful the entire time because Jesus told her I was just a place holder and they would end up back together…😳🙄
