Have you started potty training your July 2020 baby!?

Question

So we didn’t formally potty train my daughter (started by sitting her on the potty while running her nightly bath and upped it from there) but we’re at the point where she’s peeing 3-5x and pooping 1x in the potty daily. My mom thinks we should spend a weekend training her and completely cut out diapers but my MIL says it’s way too soon and we should wait. This is our first kid so I literally have no clue what is best. Is anyone else potty training now??

We won’t start until next take my maternity leave next month I’ll be 36 weeks

We started kinda setting him on his potty from 15 months old to now but I haven't been as consistent with it as I wish I was so he only sometimes goes in it...

With potty training, I follow their lead. If she’s already doing it, and shows interest, keep offering it! Just know that it’s pretty early still, so if it halts, or she opposes at all, don’t force it. I would keep diapers on her, and keep offering potty.

We haven’t started at all but I will be soon. I have an older daughter who will be 3 next week and is fully potty trained. So she sees her sister going and will tell us when she poops. So I think she’s getting ready. My oldest wasn’t ready until 2.5 though. Sounds like yours is pretty ready if she’s already going that much!

Commenting to follow! We do cloth diapers and my son will tell me sometimes when he needs a new diaper. I’ve heard it’s easier to train when using cloth. He’s pretty regular and I’ve thought about trying but I have no idea where to start
