C-section or natural birth
So I'm working on baby#2
Going into my 2nd trimester and trying to get mentally prepared for everything so I've got some questions I'm hoping could get some feedback on.
Baby#1 was born C-section because he kept flipping in circles so my doctor decided it was the best option instead of inducing me because chances were they'd have to do it anyways. Everything went fine. Healthy baby. Healed without issues.
Baby#2 Im at a new clinic and suddenly my doctor gets switched without reason. I specifically ask her to take a look around to make sure it's just one baby and she refused. And then I'm being told that I don't have a choice about delivery. That because I had a C-section the first time they will make me do it again. If I want a natural birth I have to travel several hours away to do it. I've never heard of that being done that way.
So here's my thought. Let's say I go into labor and everything is going quickly but I want a natural birth I'm expected to have the ability to drive myself hours away while having contractions and hope I don't end up pulled over on the side of the road giving birth because I'm not allowed to where I live? How's that makes sense at all?!
