I'm 16 years old and my parents and I are considering both the pros and cons of the HPV Vaccine. My parents do not think it's worth it, considering all the horror stories of young girls dying or having very serious side effects after receiving the vaccine. I am considering both the pros and the cons. As someone who has been and plans to be sexually active in the future, I think this vaccine would be beneficial. Cervical cancer is something my mother went through, and does not want me to go through. They do not object because of moral obligations and know I have been sexually active, they are just worried about potential after affects. Does anyone have any advice? Anyone know if the pros outweigh the cons or vice verse? It would be a wonderful help to get some advice from someone who has experience with this. Thank you!
