So I’m 8 weeks pregnant and already have a 8month boy. Both my partner and I side of the family have boys and not many girls .

I haven’t told anyone about the pregnancy yet. The other day I was with my mum and mother in law and we were on the topic of how many boys/girls each other has on their side . Anyways, my MIL made a comment towards me saying “well if you ever have another one I don’t wanna hear about it if it’s not a girl” and then my mum went on to say yeah I really want a granddaughter.

I’m really upset and don’t even want to tell anyone about the pregnancy anymore and DEFINITELY NOT the gender of the baby.

Any advice ? Or anyone in the same boat ?
