How many days off of work did you take following a miscarriage?

I miscarried at work. I didn’t take any time off and was back the next day. For me personally I found it easier to go to work and keep busy and my mind off of it.

I took 2 days off… Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday, was back on Wednesday in all my depressed glory of just experiencing such trauma. This is America 😓

I took off two days because I had a D&C. I took the day of the procedure and the day after off.

Mine happened on a Saturday/Sunday but i took a couple of days off just to regroup.

I started miscarrying on a Thursday in 2020 and took off Saturday and Sunday only because of the pain .

First baby I post at 20 weeks I pushed the baby out had labor and all displayed to 10.. had to be back the next week and I take care of babies… that was by far the hardest for me.
Had another loss at 9 weeks and another one at 8 I took 1 day off and went back. 
Do what you feel is best. The first one was true trauma for me I wish I could of had more time for that one. I needed it.

I was off for at least a month following each of my miscarriages (they were at 12 wks and 15wks) because my OBs wouldn’t sign off on my paperwork.

Do not go back until you are ready!! Everyone grieves differently so if you need a month off take it! Your mental health is so much more important than the stress of a job I promise!

I took none and wished I had taken some. It was hard. I’d shut my office door and cry. I should’ve taken care of myself, even for a day, to mentally recover

I'm a sahm and had a d&c idk if you are or not.  But I was pretty sore the day after it.    As far as a natural miscarriage take as long as you can.  Its physically and emotionally so difficult
