Do you ever get dizzy or nauseous when you see your period?

I don't know if I get lightheaded from losing lots of blood or seeing lots of blood. I was recently diagnosed with adenomyosis, which is when endometrial tissue grows inside the uterine walls. It can cause heavy bleeding and pain among a bunch of other symptoms.

I just bleed through my cup in like 2 hours and not to be tmi but it was gruesome like the Shining. Anyways I'm just wondering if anyone else ever gets faint when you take out a tampon, cup or pad? When I was younger I used to get so dizzy my vision would go blank and I'd have to sit down for a bit. It hasn't happened for a while but lately my periods have been intense. I've been tested for anemia multiple times and I don't have it.

I actually found out I have adenomyosis because I had a 22 day period a couple months ago and thought it was just my progestin birth control pill. Got it checked out. Ultrasound found it. During that time I took a month off the pill and I had a super light 5 day period with barely any cramping honestly the nicest (normal) period I've had in years. Now they put me on the combination pill to help with my symptoms but I'm wondering if it's actually the birth control making my periods so unbearable/heavy.
