Is my baby teething?

Hello everyone 😊. So my son is 3 months old now and I’ve noticed him biting his hands and pretty much anything else that goes near his mouth, I put my finger in his mouth to see how hard he was biting and it was a pretty strong bite he doesn’t seem to have any discomfort or pain though. Does this mean he is teething?

Not necessarily. Babies chew on things and use their mouths to discover even when they’re not teething.

That's normal development at that stage. It doesn't mean teeth are imminent but it could happen

It could be my son did the same thing at 3 months he wanted to bite our fingers constantly because he couldn't figure out how to put other things in his mouth. He has 2 teeth before he was 4 months.
It is common for babies to do this though so it could just be him testing his new skills. 
It's hard to say until the teeth start making their appearance

Possible. Babies can teeth for months before a tooth pops.
My girl started teething at 10 weeks old. She has her canines locked and loaded just sitting there torturing her. Her two bottom teeth popped before them at 5.5 months old. Those canines are still sitting right under the gum irritating her but they most likely won’t pop for awhile. 
Whether babe is or isn’t, find a teether they like! My girl LOVES the mushroom. So far that’s the only teether she will chew on all day.
