Lactation?

Hey ladies! Currently 28+ weeks. All of my pregnancy tracking apps have told me for a few weeks to expect lactating any day now, especially during intimacy and sex. It’s my first pregnancy. So for those of you that have kids already, or have already started lactating this pregnancy, when did it start for you? Wondering realistically when I can expect to start having to deal with that cuz I don’t know if I’m dreading it or looking forward to it 😅

I never leaked during my first pregnancy and really haven’t with this one. If I squeezed my nipples I could get milk to come out, but I never leaked without doing that. Once she was born, I had no problems breastfeeding.

I hardly ever leaked during my first pregnancy. Maybe only once or twice I woke up with a little colostrum dried to my shirt. But I could express colostrum after 20 weeks when I squeezed my nipple. Same with this pregnancy. 
I didn’t actively leak until my milk came in after birth. Then talk about leaking 🤪🤪🤪 my boobs soaked me like crazy sometimes!

I have small amounts of white that appear on my nipples but nothing actually flows. I also haven't tried to express. I have not ever had leakage before birth. This is my 3rd pregnancy.

Unlikely to happen prior to giving birth. And before birth it wouldn’t be actual milk yet either. It would be colostrum. You may be able to hand express a bit.

It’s rare to leak during pregnancy so that’s weird your app is telling you to expect it. If you do, collect it and freeze it, but it’s not common.

I never did with my first pregnancy. I started leaking around 16 weeks with my second & current pregnancy. I notice it the most after the shower

With my first baby I didnt experience that, but noe I sometimes have my tshirt a little wet. It started around 28weeks, but doest happen that often and is a little wetness and thats all.

I can only notice colostrum if I express some out. You won't follow lactate milk until 3 or so days after baby is born, colostrum is what you'll have in pregnancy and is enough for baby those first few days as well 🤍 I never actually leak, and this is my 3rd baby

Some people don't lactate before. I've had a little off and on this time. First pregnancy I'd wake up soaked every morning 🙃
