Why do men do this. Why do they point out everything we don’t do???
I stay home during the day, while my boyfriend and father go to work (they work together). Everyday they come home and say i haven’t done anything all day (i will admit i haven’t been doing as much as i used to because I’ve been depressed and want to sleep all day) but today I actually got myself out of bed and cleaned the house. i told myself that ill do the kitchen today and save the rest for tomorrow. They come home from work today and start saying i didn’t do anything. I kept my cool with my boyfriend as he kept his mouth shut until we got back to his house, but I definitely didn’t keep my cool with my dad i started yelling at him because he kept pointing out everything i didn’t do today. My boyfriend and i get back to his house and he starts saying that i didn’t do much at the house today and starts running through everything i didn’t do. I said to him that i spent 4 and a half hours organizing and cleaning the cabinets and he started laughing he said “if it was me i would have the whole house clean in 2 hours”. So I stopped talking, now i just want to cry I feel like im not good enough for anything or anyone right now. My question is why do men see the things women don’t do and not appreciate the things we did do? Is it mens brains that are just made that way?
