3 year old and concert

So, for Christmas I got my 3 year old concert tickets to see Blippi. (And other stuff too- but that was the most expensive gift he got)

I’m not sure if there are gaps in the seating or if that would even help. My son DOES have N95 masks.

The virus rates in my area has dramatically increased and seem to be getting worse every day. I ordered the tickets when they became available a few months ago and Covid rates weren’t near as high as they are now. (It went from 150 active cases to 1500 over a few months 😥)

The more I think about it, the more I’m worried about taking him now. It’s 2 hours long, I know there are moms who might not have the ticket insurance and take their kids whether they are sick or not. Or someone might have it and have no symptoms. I’d also feel really bad, because I swore I’d never take a gift back (had family do this to me for selfish reasons and even though this isn’t the case, I still feel bad), and I’d replace it with something else as soon as the refund was available. I feel like next year, he’d remember it better than this year since he’d be 4. I don’t remember much from when I was 3.

Should I cancel the tickets (I bought insurance in case they decided to cancel or if it snowed), and then make a list with pictures of stuff he’d like and let him pick some things from the list?

😥

** trying to cancel my tickets and they aren’t wanting to refund it. My headlight ended up going out so I take that as a sign I shouldn’t go, plus can’t get it fixed until next month. Getting really pissed with this Allianz company because if I end up wasting $125 I’m telling everyone about this.
