How soon can you freeze breast milk ?

Question

I have a overflow so I just pump a little on one breast when I’m feeding on the other and I’ve googled how soon can I freeze it
Can I put in the freezer like after bringing it to room tempt?
If I pump let it seat for 30min in a breast milk bag then okay to freeze?
All the advice I see on google is confusing lol

I freeze them straight away. Empty my pump efforts into a bag and straight into the freezer.

I always did at the end of the day. I found that if i put it straight into the freezer it caused it to be more lipasey

My friend froze hers right away. I didn’t have a freezer at work so I would put it in the fridge and freeze it when I got home

I would put mine in the bag and just put it in the freezer from there. You can always add it to a pitcher and that way you can just put it in bags at the end of the day just add it to 5oz bags
