Should I be worried

Hi everyone, I’m a FTM here and I just need a second opinion since no one is answering. Today, out of no where I felt really dizzy, blurry vision, had trouble breathing, and a bit of numbing on my right hand. I called my OB and the nurse told me I should go to the ER but to wait until the doctor calls you. That was around 1:30. I haven’t gotten a call back. I still feel a bit dizzy and sometimes trouble breathing. There’s no bleeding or leaking fluid. So I’m just afraid of going to the ER and not hearing good news. Should I still go even though it’s been awhile since it happened?

*I still feel the little one kicking*

Im a but late to this, but every pregnancy I’ve had I experienced numbness/tingling in my left arm and left side of my face and shortness of breath, also I’m dizzy 24/7. With my first pregnancy I almost fainted at work and had to cling on to a shelf/shoe rack(worked at Payless) because I started blacking out for no reason. I made MANY trips to the hospital being told each time there was nothing wrong with me. But one time with i was pregnant with my second at 36 weeks I got admitted to the ICU for those same symptoms. They ran every possible tests and scan they could think of, even the damn founder of the neurological center there came to see me. They chalked up the numbness to very mild Bell’s palsy which was apparently triggered when my sinuses became inflamed. Also the ICU nurse came in and randomly said “has anyone ever told you that you have a right bundle branch blockage in your heart?” And I was like umm.. no??. So that had been causing me to be dizzy and short of breath and also chest pain. I also have naturally low blood pressure (like the kind that scares doctors) . And thanks to my blockage it causes my blood pressure to be a bit “backwards”, like if I stand up and just walk around it can get low like extremely low and I get dizzy. But if I sit down it elevates to a “normal” range. So I know it’s scary to go and possibly hear bad news but it’s usually worth it to get checked and if there is an issue it can be fixed if it’s caught early. Also want to add that all 3 of my kids have been born perfectly fine even though I experienced all this!

Have you been drinking enough water? How far along are you? You should go in and be monitored to make sure your blood pressure isn’t up?

Some places you may have to ask for the after hour ob. There is always a doctor on call though for that reason.

Try to also increase your water intake. Watch out for and swelling in the hands ankles feet and all. That will be signs as well your pressure is up

Could also be low blood sugar. I faint almost weekly because of my blood sugar. Go get checked. Just to rule out the unknown

I’m 34 weeks. My low blood sugar has me feeling dizzy, lightheaded, weak, shaky, initially everyone thought blood pressure, but I had the opposite. Yes I monitor my sugar levels & take insulin. I’m not perfect at regulating my sugars, but it’s much better. Usually when my sugar is low I feel different

How far along are you? I just found out that I have diabetes with this pregnancy. I have to monitor my blood sugars as well. I’m 31+1

Yes bc it could be a number of issues. Call back and see if you can speak with a dr immediately if not go on the the er. Some of the potential issues time could be of the essence. It could also be nothing but you def need to be checked out

It’s definitely worth going. It sounds like it may be a high blood pressure thing. Even if it’s not and everything is okay, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Correct. Unless you have a BP cuff that you can monitor from home, if you have the start of preeclampsia it’s not going to get any better, even if you feel a bit better.
