Looking for recommendations for a glider or rocking chair

Hi- does anyone have a recommendation on gliders or a rocking chair for a mom of a newborn? Ty!

We ordered a la-z-boy rocking, swivel recliner. It was $900 with tax, extra warranty and a coating to help make it stain resistant. We figure when I’m done with it in his room we’ll move it to the living room instead of buying one that wouldn’t get used anymore.

I have a glider which I got for free from my parents. Honestly I wish I had a recliner. Being able to lean back personally while breastfeeding made me more comfortable. I'd pick something that can be used for more than just late nights with baby

I got a regular chair similar to the one I tagged here. My daughter doesn’t care for the rocking forward and back motion. Biggest thing for me was finding a chair that I could lean all the way back in with head support. An ottoman was also a must for me.

We have this one that we got before my daughter was born and we kept it in her room until a few months ago (when she was almost 2) when she got a twin bed, then we moved it to our spare room and will use it again for baby #2 in august. It has been a great place to sit to read to her or when she wants to play in her room, as well as if she gets up during the night, now we can just sit on her bed. My husband is 350+ lbs and it was comfortable for him, although a little narrower than he would prefer, and has held up well. We figure if we keep it in the next baby’s room as long as it was in our daughters it’s will be 5 years old and can go in the playroom in the basement and if it gets destroyed it has more than served it’s purpose
