I’m still new at this, I have a two month old daughter who is a great sleeper compared to my first born who would wake every hour and a half, my daughter sleeps long stretches, dream feeds and sleeps right as she’s done eating. She’ll even sleep through being burped.

With my first, because he’d legit wake up after an hour and a half all night, I’d go through the cycle of feeding, diaper change, burp etc. My daughter however sleeps great during her long stretches but as soon as I wake her she’s very upset and takes a while to go back down.

My mom told me to leave her be, and I’ve read that unless it’s a poop (I change them immediately) or if she has diaper rash/open cuts from diaper rash then to leave her because baby pee isn’t very concentrated, but obviously I don’t want her to sleep with a dirty diaper.

Leave her be? Or wake her to change her?
