Hey guys so I went to my 33 week appointment yesterday and mentioned I've been extremely itchy all over the last week and my OB was concerned I have obstetric cholestasis  which affects my liver and can be pretty serious for baby (may increase the risks for fetal distress, preterm birth, or stillbirth. A developing baby relies on the mother's liver to remove bile acids from the blood; therefore, the elevated levels of maternal bile cause stress on the baby's liver.)

So he made me go to the hospital for bloodwork and I'm just waiting now... but kinda stressing baby won't be okay now...

Has anyone been diagnosed with this and baby delivered healthy and fine? Just looking for encouragement at this point. :(
