What do I have?

I have had recurring bv since August 2021. I treated it with various antibiotic gels which didn’t work and then finally I used Flagyll and it appears to have worked. I got a negative swab for bv or any other vaginal infection today but I don’t understand because I still have large quantities of milky/yellow discharge and slight itching that I had when I had bv. I’m free of STDs and I don’t know what this could be if not bv?

I would get bv every couple months or so. I started taking a womens probiotic and eating more yogurt - I was suggested activia - and it has helped, I havent had bv in over a year now.

How is your probiotic intake. I recommend u rake garden of life raw 85 billion daily or eat a good amount of yogurt every day for a month. Then after eat it several times a week. It will help repopulate the vag with good bacteria and keep it stable to fight off bacteria and infection.
