Tubal ligation post miscarriage?
Both my husband and I have a total of 5 children (2 is ours). I lost my #4 at 18 weeks. We ttced for 11 months with our rainbow baby our #5. She’s now a happy 20 months old. We have already decided that we was done having children since we had her. I was scheduled to have a tubal ligation several times but because of the pandemic it was non essential so it was rescheduled quite a few times. We got pregnant with #6 unexpectedly and we was surprised. I went to the doctor today because I felt the symptoms was similar to the symptoms of my miscarriage with #4. Came to find out I was right, we lost the baby at 14 weeks. I go in on Tuesday for DNC. Both my husband and I are talking on rather or not if I should go ahead and get a tubal ligation while I have my DNC done. The thing is we’re not sure yet and we have til Monday to call the hospital and let them know we’re wanting it done or not. Like I said I was rescheduled a few times, we was done having kids, but we got pregnant unexpectedly and was surprised but we was happy. I’m afraid I’ll regret getting the tubal ligation, but then I’m afraid I’ll regret not getting it done. I’m not sure what to do. I want to hear if anyone have had it done post miscarriage, and how they feel about it.
