I quit my job at and became a stay at home mom since I got pregnant with our second baby , meaning my boyfriend claimed our first child on his taxes. He was talking about how happy he was about getting extra taxes this year. I brought up the new baby. Saying “I can use some of our tax money to help finish the baby’s nursery” he laughed at me and said “you actually think I’m gonna give you any money?” the conversation got a little more serious since I said I thought I could at least get a part since he did claim OUR child after all. He said no that he was going to keep it since I “didn’t contribute to anything while being a stay at home mom” is this right?
